The Harley-Davidson Rare and Ultimate Exhibition


Central Embassy, an unparalleled lifestyle shopping complex in the heart of Bangkok in association with Immortals Thailand, the first and biggest Harley-Davidson motorcycle club in Thailand proudly present “The Legend is Here” Exhibition. Over 20 rare and legendary “Harley-Davidson”, American motorcycles from 1945 until present will be on exhibit for all big bike enthusiasts and devotees to get up close and personal. The exhibition will include the history of Harley-Davidson’s journey coming into Thailand and to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Immortals Thailand. The exhibition will be held with no admission fee from 5 – 18 October, 2016 from 10:00 – 22:00 hrs., G Floor, Central Embassy. Witness a troop of over 60 Harley-Davidson motorcycles parading towards Central Embassy on Saturday, 8 October, 2016, approximately arriving at 17:00 hrs.

Barom Bhicharnchitr, Managing Director, Central Embassy has revealed that, “Central Embassy, an empire of iconic fashion, arts, and lifestyle has joined hands with Immortals Thailand, the first and biggest big bike club in Thailand for Harley-Davidson devotees and enthusiasts, to hold “The Legend is Here” exhibition with an intention to create a remarkable activity for customers. The greatest ever Harley-Davidson exhibition is open for all who love and is passionate with Harley-Davidson as well as the general public at G Floor, Central Embassy with no admission fee”.

Suntaya Phogate, President of Immortals Thailand has revealed that, “On an auspicious occasion of the 25th anniversary of Immortals Thailand which was established in 1991, formed from a small group of Thais who admired Harley-Davidson motorcycle. They have gathered together to exchange knowledge and information about Harley-Davidson motorcycle as well as doing charitable and social activities. Today, Immortals Thailand has over 300 members. It is an honor that this year, Immortals Thailand has the special privilege of joining with Central Embassy to exhibit the greatest ever Harley-Davidson Exhibition that gathers rare and legendary Harley-Davidson such as the Evolution and Twin Cam engines to showcase here at Central Embassy!”

It is a once in a lifetime event in Thailand, giving the opportunity for all Harley-Davidson admirers to witness the rare and ultimate Harley-Davidson motorcycle models, such as 1942 US Army WWII with sidecar that was designed and manufactured during World War II, which were brought to Thailand by the US government to assist the Thai government during the Indochina War. This model has a stick shift system with 3 forward and 1 reverse gear, using a pedal to control and release power to the front wheel drive. Only 88,000 vehicles has been manufactured world-wide. The vehicle to be showcased comes 750 CC engine with side-valve v6 engine. Harley-Davidson 1998 Road King Classic, 3,500 limited editions have been manufactured worldwide with special spray-painted color coat to celebrate 95th anniversary of Harley-Davidson, it comes with Evolution engine. The showcase vehicle is No. 2493. Harley-Davidson 2013 CVO Ultra Classic Electra, to celebrate 110th anniversary of Harley-Davidson, only 5,000 limited editions have been manufactured. It comes with Twin Cam engine, the biggest block ever in Twin Cam model with spectacular hand-painted and air-brushed design on its body which is a unique design of this model. There are plenty more of interesting models of Harley-Davidson to be displayed on this exhibition.
