Sretsis, “sisters”spelled backward, is a Thai designer label that has stepped forward into the international fashion world. Established by 3 Sukhahuta sisters in 2002 upon Creative Director Pim’s graduation year from Parsons School of Design. Elder sister Kly oversees all marketing and management while the youngest Matina completes Sretsis with her accompanying Sretsis Jewelry line. Sretsis shines brightly through dream-like silhouettes and tongue-in-cheek humored prints disguised, sometimes unnoticed, as wide-eyed innocent take on age-old femininity. In 2014, Sretsis opened the doors to their first international flagship store, Sretsis inn, at Minami Aoyama, Tokyo. Playing on Sretsis’signature of creating a surreal fantasy, the multi-storied space is envisioned as a hotel offering a unique retail experience unlike any other in Tokyo, showcasing the multi-faceted worlds within the Sretsis universe.
From childhood play to grown-up fantasy, the three sisters still hold on tightly to the ideals of creating a unique world within Sretsis universe, and the loving bond of sisterhood, where it all began.
