Kaithong Original opened in 1998 as a 6-seater eatery, cooking “on demand” according to whatever diners were hankering for that particular day. The tactic was simple: the dishes that tasted great got included onto the menu, which steadily grew in size and stature to include garlic-fried pork liver, Hong Kong-style Rad na noodles and other Oriental classics that eventually earned the restaurant its nation-wide renown. Fast forward 23 years and the family-owned establishment is ready for an update, choosing Central Embassy to house the flagship of its revamped concept, Kaithong Original.
