The Kooples
Level 2
Flagship & Exclusive

The Kooples was established in 2008 and fuses both mens and womenswear into one collection.
The brand has an innovative and unique concept: the ability to go shopping as a couple allows them to swap their wardrobe.
The Kooples is an accessible luxury brand, combining perfect cuts, attention to details and precious fabrics.
In France, The Kooples launched 240 points of sale in the last 5 years.

In Europe and in the US, the brand launched 70 points of sale in just 2 years in the most premium locations.
The Kooples is the second success story of the Elicha family. In 1995, the parents founded Comptoir des Cotonniers stemmed from the concept of the mother and the daughter. After a decade of success, the brand was bought by the Japenese Group Fast Retailing which also owns Uniqlo, Theory and Helmut Lang.

In 2007, the 3 sons decided to launch The Kooples, a new brand concept based on the couple. Alexandre designs the men’s wear, while Lauren creates the women’s. Raphael handles branding and imagery.

The brothers didn’t rush into things and thought over and over again about the whole project. In the end, they mix everything they like from yesterday’s fashion to nowadays trends.
